Cooking instructions

No boiling required. Boiling the noodles is not required, but add 1 cup of extra sauce because more liquid will be absorbed while baking. If you prefer traditional lasagna, boil the noodles in salted water for 4 minutes, drain, and place them on a clean kitchen towel while assembling the lasagna. Easy No-Boil Lasagna Ingredients: 5 cups of jovial crushed tomatoes; 4 tbsp. jovial extra virgin olive oil; 1/2 tsp. garlic powder; 1 tsp. dry basil; 1 tsp. dry oregano; 15 oz. ricotta cheese; 2 eggs; 12 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese; 4 oz. grated parmesan cheese. Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 2. In a medium bowl, mix tomatoes, oil, garlic powder, spices, and salt to taste. 3. In another bowl, combine eggs and ricotta cheese. 4. Cover the bottom of a 9x13 lasagna pan with 1 cup of the tomato mixture. 5. Spread 1/3 of ricotta on four uncooked lasagna noodles and layer the pan. 6. Cover with 1 cup of the tomato mixture, a cup of mozzarella and 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese. 7. Repeat steps 4 and 5 two times. 8. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 50 minutes. 9. Uncover and pat down the noodles gently to flatten the top. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes until brown. 10. Let stand for 10 minutes. Cook Time: No Boil Method: Bake for 55-60 minutes. Traditional Method: Boil noodles for 4 minutes. Bake for 50-55 minutes.
