Cooking instructions
Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, store remaining uncooked rice in a sealed container. How To Cook: Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. Stove Top-1. Select number of servings from chart below. Bring water and salt, if desired to boil in medium saucepan.2. Stir in rice and return to boil. Reduce heat to LOW; cover and cook 5 minutes. 3. Remove from heat. Stir; cover and let stand 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff lightly with fork and serve.Number of servings: 2= 1 cup rice and 1 cup water.4= 2 cups rice and 1 3/4 cups water. 6= 3 cups and 2 1/2 cups water.Microwave (1100 watts)-1. Select number of servings from chart below. Combine rice, water and salt, if desired in the selected microwave-safe dish size. 2. Cover and cook on HIGH until boiling according to time in chart.3. Let stand 5 minutes or until water is absorbed.4. Remove carefully from microwave; fluff lightly with fork and serve. Microwave Cooking Chart:2 servings=1 cup rice, 1 cup water, 1 1/2 quart microwave safe dish, cook time 6 minutes.4 servings= 2 cups rice, 1 3/4 cups water, 2 quarts microwave safe dish, cook time 8 minutes.6 servings= 3 cups rice, 2 1/2 cups water, 3 quarts microwave safe dish, cook time 11 minutes.
