Cooking instructions
Fast Rise yeast is finer, so it can be added to bread recipes without proofing in warm water first. If you do with to proof to test for freshness, just stir yeast and 1/4 tsp. sugar into 1/4 cup warm water (95-110 degrees F). Mixture should bubble within 5 minutes. (If not, discard and start again). Add to recipe as directed and deduct 1/4 cup from recipe's total liquid. Not recommended for long-rise, refrigerated, or frozen doughs. Store in a cool, dry place.
