For use by date: see front of pack. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, use within 24 hours and do not exceed the use by date. For best quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen use within 3 months. Once defrosted use the same day. This product may have been previously frozen and defrosted under controlled conditions without affecting the quality or safety of the product. It is still suitable for home freezing. Do not refreeze once defrosted. Ingredients
Lamb (90%), Pea and Mint Butter (10%) (Salted Butter (Cows' Milk) (Butter (Cows' Milk), Salt), Pea Purée, Mint, Parsley, Concentrated Lemon Juice, Cornflour, Black Pepper). Preparation and Safety Cooking instructions: other To pan fry from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Remove sleeve. Peel back film and allow meat to reach room temperature for about 10 minutes. Preheat frying pan over a medium to high heat then reduce heat down to a medium heat. Heat 15ml oil in a frying pan. Once oil is hot, season the lamb steaks with a sprinkle of salt and pepper and place into the pan. During cooking: Turn frequently. Fry for 5 minutes each side for a medium result. Remove steaks from pan, set aside and allow to rest keeping warm. Place butters in pan and allow to melt for 1 minute, do not allow to reduce excessively.
