Plastic melts in electric oven

Plastic melts in the electric oven

It was only on 170 for 40 minutes and when i came back after checking on it twice already the finally time, the plastic casing is melted all over the food and in the oven and had to throw it away .. this also happened to the Broccoli cauliflower cheese that we put on at the same time
