Cooking instructions
Oven cook - From ChilledCooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving.170degC, Fan 150degC, Gas 5, 2 hour 10 min Pre-heat your oven as shown. Remove all packaging from the gammon. Place onto a lined baking tray. Pat the rind dry with kitchen roll and brush the rind with oil and sprinkle with a little salt evenly across the rind. Place on the bottom shelf of the oven. Ensure plenty of space above the gammon cook for 1 hour 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and increase temperature to 220degC/Fan 220degC/Gas mark 7. Place the gammon joint back into the oven on the bottom shelf for 40 minutes. Leave to rest for 10 minutes before carving.
