Cooking instructions

Keep frozen. Do not defrost. If any tortellini are frozen together, do not separate. They will usually separate during cooking. For best results, use stove-top instructions. For food safety and quality, follow these cooking instructions: Stove-top cooking: Boil 4 quarts of water (optional: add 1 tablespoon oil to prevent sticking). Add tortellini to boiling water. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain and serve. Microwave cooking: Mix 1/2 cup of your favorite sauce with a 1/3 cup of water. Place 1 cup of tortellini in a microwaveable dish, add sauce and cover. Heat on high power (100%) for 4-5 minutes, stirring halfway. Let stand 2 minutes before serving. Remove cover carefully as steam is hot. (Note: microwave ovens may vary; adjust cooking times accordingly.). Keep frozen until ready to use. Do not refreeze.
