Cooking instructions
Use by date stamped on package. Store in cool, dry place. How To Cook:Stovetop:1. In a heavy pot, combine rice, water, (salt to taste) according to desired number of servings in chart below.2. Bring to a boil on HIGH; cover with tight fitting lid and reduce heat to a simmer. 3. Cook 12-15 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.Makes 3/4 cup prepared per serving. Stovetop Cooking Chart:1 Cup Rice + 1 1/2 Cup Water = 3 Cups Cooked. 2 Cups Rice + 3 Cups Water = 6 Cups Cooked. 3 Cups Rice + 4 1/2 Cups Water = 9 Cups Cooked. Microwave (1100 watts):1. Combine 1 cup rice, 1 ¾ cups water, (salt to taste) in a 3-quart microwave safecasserole. Stir well.2. Cover and microwave on HIGH 4 minutes.3. Reduce power to MEDIUM (50%) and cook 10-11 minutes. Let stand in microwave5 minutes. Carefully remove using pot holders; fluff with fork and serve.Chef Tips:Add as a side dish to your favorite Thai recipe.Go to wegmans.com for recipes.
