Cooking instructions
Once opened, store remaining uncooked rice in a sealed container. Store in a cool, dry place. HOW TO COOKCooking times may vary depending on your equipment.Stovetop1. In a heavy pot, combine rice, water, (salt to taste) according to desired number of servings in chart below.2. Bring to a boil on HIGH; cover with tight fitting lid and reduce heat to a simmer.3. Cook 45 minutes until water is absorbed. Remove from heat; fluff with fork and serve.Makes 3/4 cup prepared per serving. 4 servings, 1 cup rice + 2-1/4 cups water = 3 cups cooked rice. 8 servings, 2 cups rice + 4-1/2 cups rice = 6 cups cooked rice. 12 servings, 3 cups rice + 6-1/2 cups rice = 9 cups cooked rice. Chef Tip: To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or after cooking.
