To retain vitamins do not rinse before cooking or drain after cooking. Stove Top (1). Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet and 1-3/1 cups water in a medium saucepan. Stir well. (2). Bring to a full boil, reduce heat (medium-low to medium) and simmer covered 10-12 minutes until most water is absorbed. (3). Remove from heat. Let stand covered 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve. To Prepare 2 Boxes Use 2-3/4 cups of water and follow stove-top cooking directions. Microwave (Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate. Adjust cooking time as needed). (1). Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet and 1-3/4 cups water in a microwave-safe glass dish. Stir well. (2). Cover tightly with microwave-safe lid or plastic wrap and microwave on high for 12-15 minutes until liquid is absorbed. 3. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
