Cooking instructions
Keep Refrigerated. Cook Thoroughly. HOW TO COOK: Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. Cook to internal 160 degrees F as measured with a food thermometer. If frozen, thaw before cooking. Stovetop: 1. Remove corned beef and spice packet from package; place in large pot along with package juices, if desired. 2. Fill with cool water to completely cover; add spices from packet. 3. Bring to boil on HIGH; reduce heat and simmer covered, 2 ½ - 3 hours until fork tender. 4. Remove beef to platter; rest 20-30 minutes before slicing. Slow Cook: 1. Remove corned beef and spice packet from package; place in slow cooker along with package juices, if desired. 2. Fill with cool water to completely cover; add spices from packet. 3. Cover; cook on HIGH 4 hours until fork tender. 4. Remove beef to platter; rest 20-30 min before slicing. Chef Tip: Slice meat thinly across the grain.
