Cooking instructions
HOW TO COOK:For food safety, cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment.Keep frozen.Do not refreeze.Microwave (1100 watts):1. Place contents of entire package of frozen pellets in microwave-safe dish, coverloosely.2. Cook on HIGH 4 minutes (half package for 2 min); stir well. Return to microwave and cook on HIGH 2 ½ - 3 minutes (half package for 2 min) longer until melted andthoroughly heated. Carefully remove from microwave; stir well.3. Season and serve or use in a recipe.1. Place desired amount of frozen pellets in saucepan on MEDIUM heat.2. Cook 8-10 minutes for entire package (about 5 min for half pkg) until melted and thoroughly heated, stirring often.3. Season and serve or use in a recipe.Estimate ½ of frozen package makes about 1 cup cooked.Chef Tips:Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter and season with fresh cracked pepper.Great substitute for mashed potatoes.Use as a recipe starter for soups and sauces.
