Cooking instructions

For best quality and food safety, follow these cooking directions: Microwave: Since microwave oven wattage varies, cooking times may need adjusting. 1. Place sweet potatoes in 1-quart casserole. Sprinkle Candied Sauce Mix evenly over potatoes. Add 2 tablespoons butter or margarine. Cover with plastic wrap. 2. Microwave on High 8 minutes. 3. Cut large potatoes. Stir sauce thoroughly and spoon over potatoes; cover. 4. Microwave an additional 2 to 4 minutes or until potatoes are fully cooked and tender. 5. Remove from oven; let stand 5 minutes. Conventional Oven: 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 2. Place sweet potatoes in 1-quart casserole. Sprinkle Candied Sauce Mix evenly over potatoes. Add 2 tablespoons water and 2 tablespoons butter or margarine; cover. 3. Bake 40 minutes on center rack in oven. 4. Cut large potatoes. Stir sauce thoroughly and spoon over potatoes. Cover and bake an additional 25 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are fully cooked and tender. 5. Remove from oven; let stand 5 minutes. Stovetop: 1. In a 1 -quart saucepan, combine Candied Sauce mix, 1/4 cup water and 2 tablespoons butter or margarine. Stir constantly over Medium heat until boiling. 2. Add sweet potatoes and stir to coat. Cover. Reduce heat to low. 3. Cook 20 minutes. Cut large potatoes. Stir, cover and cook an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until potatoes are fully cooked and tender. Let stand 5 minutes.
