Cooking instructions
Keep refrigerated. <br/>Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. Oven Roasted: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F with rack in center. 1. Toss squash with 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in large bowl; season with salt and pepper if desired. 2. Arrange in single layer on large baking sheet. 3. Roast about 50-60 minutes or until tender and browned, turning halfway through. Option: Roast half the package (1 1/2 lbs.) with 1 tablespoon vegetable oil about 30 minutes. <br/><br/>Stovetop: 1. Bring 1 cup water and squash to a boil in 6-quart saucepan, reduce heat and cover. 2. Simmer 15-20 minutes or until tender. <br/>3. Carefully drain squash, mash and add your favorite seasoning. Microwave (1100 Watts): 1. Divide and cook half the package ( 1 1/2 lbs.) at a time. Place squash in 2-quart microwave-safe dish with cover. 2. Cook on High 9-10 minutes or until tender. Let rest 2 minutes. <br/>3. Carefully remove from oven; drain, mash and add your favorite seasoning.
