Cooking instructions
Keep potatoes in a cool, dark, well-ventilated place for up to 2 weeks. Warm temperatures encourage sprouting and shriveling. Best Uses: Boiling; Stews; Mashed potatoes; Soups. How to Cook: Stove Top: 1. Place potatoes and 3-quarts water in a large pot; bring to a boil. 2. Cook about 20 minutes, or until middle of potatoes are fork tender. Microwave Oven: 1. Pierce potatoes several times with a fork, to allow steam to escape. 2. Arrange potatoes 1-inch apart on a microwave-safe dish. 3. Cook on High power, rotating 1/4-turn half-way through cooking time. 4. Follow table below for recommended cooking times. 5. Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving. No. of Potatoes/Minutes: 1 = 5 - 7; 2 = 7 - 9; 3 = 9 - 11; 4 = 13 - 15; 5 = 17 - 20.
