Remove all packaging. Leave steak at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking. Lightly season the steak with sea salt and freshly ground pepper. All appliances vary the following are guidelines only. SHALLOW FRY: Add a little oil to a pan and heat over a high setting. Add steak to the pan and sear on all sides for 1 minute. Lower heat to medium-high and cook for the times specified, turning occasionally during cooking. Rare: 7-9 minutes; Medium: 9-11 minutes; Well done: 14-16 minutes. GRILL: Preheat grill to a medium-high heat. Place the steaks under the grill for the times specified, turning occasionally during cooking. Rare: 8-10 minutes; Medium: 9-11 minutes; Well done: 14-16 minutes. Ensure that the surface of the steak is thoroughly cooked. Once cooked, cover the steak, keep warm and allow to rest for 1 minute. Do not reheat.
Keep refrigerated below 5degC at the bottom of the fridge. Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours and by date shown. Suitable for freezing. Freeze by date mark shown and use within one month. Defrost thoroughly at the bottom of the fridge before use and use immediately. Never defrost in a warm room. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
