Cooking instructions

Remove all packaging. All appliances vary, the following are guidelines only. Leave steak at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking. SHALLOW FRY: Lightly oil steaks before cooking (teaspoon of oil to cover 2 steaks -half a teaspoon each) Preheat frying pan over a high heat until very hot. Sear steak for 1 minute on each side. Medium: Reduce to a medium heat and cook for a further 13-15 minutes, turning occasionally during cooking. Well Done: Reduce to a medium heat and cook for a further 16 -18 minutes, turning occasionally during cooking. Remove from pan and season with salt and pepper. Rest on a warm plate for 2 minutes before serving. GRILL: Preheat grill to a medium to high heat. Lightly season the steak with sea slat and freshly ground black pepper and place under the grill for the specified times, turning occasionally during cooking (Medium: 13-15 minutes Well done: 16-18 mins.) Ensure that the surface of the steak is thoroughly cooked. Once the steak is cooked allow to rest for 1 minute covered with aluminium foil. Do not reheat.

Storage instructions

Keep refrigerated below 5degC at the bottom of the fridge. Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours and by date shown. Suitable for freezing. Freeze by date mark shown and use within one month. Defrost thoroughly at the bottom of the fridge before use and use immediately. Never defrost in a warm room. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
