Check before use. Do not use if bag is damaged. Always cook in a deep sided roasting tin (approx. 5cm deep). Make sure the bag does not touch the oven walls, racks or heating element. Very hot steam may be released when opening the bag. Handle with care. The bag may open during cooking and result in juices seeping from the foil tray packaging into the roasting tin during cooking. Do not pierce the bag. Place the bag in a deep sided roasting tin and cook in the centre of a preheated oven (Electric 200degC/Fan 180degC/Gas 6) for 1 hour 20 minutes. Remove from oven and place on a heatproof flat surface. Open the bag at the front by cutting with scissors. Baste the chicken with the cooking juices, return to the oven and cook for a further 30 minutes. Do not pierce the bag. Place on a roasting tin in the centre of a preheated oven. Allow to rest 10 minutes before carving. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked and piping hot throughout, no pink meat remains and the juices run clear when pierced with a thin skewer at the thickest part of the meat. If the juices are pink, continue cooking for a few minutes and retest. For best results allow to rest for 10 minutes before carving. Do not reheat.
British Chicken (87%), Water, British Pork (4%), Onion, Rice Flour, Salt, Leek, Sugar, Gram Flour, Spring Onion, Dehydrated Garlic, Black Pepper, Shallots, Parsley, Chives, Butter Powder (Milk), Sage, Flavourings, Acidity Regulators: Lactic Acid, Calcium Lactate; Dried Sage, Skimmed Milk, Dextrose, Maize Flour, Antioxidant: Sodium Ascorbate; Preservative: Sodium Metabisulphite.
Keep refrigerated below 4degC at the bottom of the fridge. Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours and by date shown. Suitable for freezing. Freeze by date mark shown and use within one month. Defrost thoroughly at the bottom of the fridge before use and use within 24 hours. Never defrost in a warm room. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
