Always wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after handling raw meat. Remove all packaging. Leave steak at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking. All appliances vary, the following are guidelines only. SHALLOW FRY: Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan on a high heat, add steak and cook for 1 minute on each side to seal. Reduce heat to medium and cook for the remaining time, turning occasionally. (RARE: 2-4 mins, MEDIUM: 4-6 mins, WELL DONE: 6-8 mins). All appliances vary, thicker steaks may require longer cooking times. Ensure the surface of the meat is thoroughly cooked. Once cooked, allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Do not reheat. GRILL: Preheat grill to a high heat. Place steak on grill rack under a high heat, turning occasionally (RARE: 5-7 mins, MEDIUM: 7-9 mins, WELL DONE: 9-11 mins). All appliances vary, thicker steaks may require longer cooking times. Ensure the surface of the meat is thoroughly cooked. Once cooked, allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Do not reheat.
Keep refrigerated below 5degC at the bottom of the fridge. Once opened, use immediately. Suitable for freezing. Freeze by date mark shown and use within one month. Defrost thoroughly at the bottom of the fridge before use and use within 24 hours. Never defrost in a warm room. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
