Oven cook from chilled only.How to defrost: Defrost the turkey thoroughly in its bag in a refrigerator, below 4°C (39°F) for approximately 69 hours. Ensure the bird is completely defrosted by checking there are no ice crystals in the body cavity and the legs are flexible.Before cooking: Preheat oven. Remove all packaging and the neck and the giblet pack from the neck flap or main body cavity. Place the turkey in an oven proof roasting tin. For best results pour 200ml of cold water into the roasting tin around the turkey. Loosely cover the turkey with foil and place into the centre of the preheated oven. During cooking: Periodically spoon the juices in the bottom of the roasting tin over the bird to baste and return to the oven.Remove the foil 1 hour before the end of cooking. After cooking: Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven, check product is piping hot and no pink colour remains. Cover with foil and leave to rest for 30-45 minutes before carving. All cooking appliances vary.
