Cooking instructions

Cooking Instructions - General. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving.; Other - From Chilled. Remove all packaging. Place into the slow cooker with 100ml of water, cook for 7 hours on high/11 hours low, remove from the slow cooker and place into a metal bowl remove the strings and using 2 forks separate the meat. Add the sachet of glaze with 2 tablespoons of juices and mix well, discard remaining juices then return to the slow cooker for a further 30 minutes to warm through.; Oven cook - From Chilled. 190degC, Fan 170degC, Gas 5, 1 hour 50 minPre-heat your oven as shown. Remove all packaging and place on a foil lined baking tray. Cook for 1 hour 40 minutes. Once cooked discard the juices and pour over the sachet of glaze and bake for a further 10 minutes. Allow to rest before carving. Carve and drizzle remaining juices over the meat and serve.

Cured Pork Leg with added Water (93%) (Pork (87%), Water, Salt, Sugar, Dextrose, Preservatives (Sodium Nitrite, Potassium Nitrate), Flavouring, Lime Oil, Antioxidant (Sodium Ascorbate)), Cola and Treacle Style Glaze Sachet (7%) (Water, Sugar, Black Treacle, Caramelised Sugar, Concentrated Orange Juice, Cornflour, Tomato Puree, Golden Syrup, Cider Vinegar, Spices, Concentrated Lemon Juice, Ginger Extract, Concentrated Lime Juice, Salt)

Storage instructions

Keep refrigerated. Use within 2 days of opening. Do not exceed the date shown. Suitable for home freezing.Freeze as soon as possible and within the date indicated. Best within 3 months. Defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator and use the same day. Once thawed do not refreeze.
