Cooking instructions: Oven Oven cook from chilled Before cooking: Remove all packaging. Preheat oven 190oc/Fan 170oc/Gas 5. Pat the venison dry and roll or toss in 2 tablespoons of seasoned flour. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil or rapeseed oil in a casserole dish and quickly brown/seal the venison all over turning regularly. During cooking: To the meat add 250 - 300ml of water or stock and your choice of root vegetables and mushrooms, cover stir and bring to the boil on the hob, then place in the oven for 90mins. After cooking: Allow to rest for 15mins before serving. Check the food is piping hot. All cooking appliaces vary. This is a guide only. Warnings: This product is not suitable for rare cooking. Do not undercook burgers. Keep raw meat separate from cooked foods. Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw meat and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly between use. Wash hands after handling raw meat. Raw meat may contain organisms hazardous to health. Cook thoroughly until piping hot throughout, no pink colour remains and the juices run clear. If not fully cooked in accordance with the instructions harmful bacteria may remain.
