Boil - From Ambient. Cooking Instructions: Measure 250g of rice for four people. Wash the rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Place the rice in a saucepan with 750ml of water. Add 1 teaspoon salt or a pat of butter if desired. Cover the saucepan and bring the rice to the boil. Continue boiling covered until the top water has absorbed and the rice begins to separate. Then reduce the heat and cook for a further 15-20 minutes. After cooking, allow the rice to stand covered for 2 to 5 minutes. Then fluff the rice with a fork and serve.
Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep in an airtight container.
