Quick cook suggestions:1 Seal & turn2 Pan fry3 Rest & serve Chef's tip - Venison is best served medium to rare. It goes well with most Mustards, Bernaise Sauce, jellies of Cranberry, Redcurrant or Rowanberry, and or Juniper Port Sauce. Hygiene: Keep raw meat separate from cooked foods. Use separate utensils. Wash hands thoroughly after handling raw meat.On opening, the meat often displays a containment odour which will disappear in a few minutes after opening. This is normal. Shallow fry: From Chilled Best cooked in a hot frying pan or steak griddle. Open the pack 10-30 mins before cooking and allow the meat to come to room temperature. Rub a little oil into the meat and apply a light sprinkling of salt and black pepper to taste.1. Seal & turn: Seal the meat on both sides.2. Pan fry: Cook for a further 5-10 mins, turning regularly as required at a lower temperature.3. Rest & serve: Ideally rest before serving. May contain shot.
